Yes please.

Yes it is Halloween. And I do have my Pandora on a Halloween station (not christmas). But I don't have a spooky post for you. All I have is this trailer that makes me want Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years to happen today so that this will come out tomorrow on Valentines:

yes i did say i was leaning more away from chick flicks but this calls everything off.

hi

My thoughts are sparse today:

Did I mention I love love love fruit snacks? Because I do.

I love waking up to James Dean. {poster. lets not jump to conclusions here.}

I have a new best friend that is so loyal. Introducing: my earplugs. Due to certain circumstances (love you kate) I sleep with them. It's weird how defensive I am of them or how much I freak out if I can't find them or they aren't in their right place. My new best friend I tell you!

Christmas Pandora is playing. Try not to shoot me through your computer screens. I realize we haven't even reached Halloween.

I secretly feel sexy classy when I wear red nail polish.

I went and purchased a $30 universal camera charger because I lost mine and it was cheaper and more useful than the one online. I found my missing charger in my huge camera (suit)case last week. Lame.

Either I have more clothes than I thought or a smaaall closet. I'm voting small closet.

Almost time for me to go to my Winter brown hair color. Or should I. You'll never know. K fine I guess you will know...

We had the most feminine man come service our heater. I couldn't help but look at him and think oxymoron. Family business? Poor lad.

Speaking of Pandora--what a great new look!

I don't park in my parking space behind my house usually because the birds usually end up eating something bad that night and distribute accordingly. But it's weird it's like I'm the only car that gets it. Anyway, so I've been parking in front of my house lately. I still go walk to the back every morning and have a heart attack wondering who was the idiot that stole my car.

My roommate decided to stay home and study in our room but we had to promise to "be boring as heck" so she could focus. It was the hardest/most awkward thing to come into the room and do the going to bed routine without saying one word. Can't promise I succeeded..

I loved that my study group could recognize me in the hall of flags when I was searching through the (huge) crowd that decided to be in the H of F that day by asking me on the phone "keep walking. we can see you. you're in PINK pants." Yes sir.

I'm moving more away from chick-flicks nowadays and more towards action thriller type movies. Whaaat?

I lost my debit card at Cornbelly's so I cancelled it and am in the process of getting sent a new one. It's the weirdest thing not having money at your fingertips and not spending it. Hmm debit card, go run away more often.

I see my sister in almost a MONTH. almost.

I played the organ this morning. Perfect for Halloween! (yes I have one in my house) It was kind of overcast and gross out so I felt even more creepy. Wa ha ha ha? (halloween laugh?)

WOAH. I was just hit by Celine Dion Christmas album. Let me stand back up..

Happy Thursday.

ps. this show is probably going to be hilarious:

cornbelly and a birth.

Well it was the first year hitting up the Cornbelly's. I must say it was a riot. Very pleased. We doubled with Ashley and Becky. They are such a fun date. Haha no but they really are. Ashley is usually my date on those things but I'll generously give her up to Becky. Love you Ashy.

 I love these ladies.
Seriously they make my life.

 Yes, all the corn maze hype is true and that was fun and all but I would definitely recommend the "horse ride." And I'm dead serious. I was laughing SO hard. You jump on them and race. Of course I'm now realizing that you hold the black handles like Becks is doing but I never understood that so when Becky got on the back of mine and started moving full speed ahead I was amazed...even if we fell on our heads. I would pay money for another ride on that horse, no lie.

In other news, Brandon Shep is another year older and was honored to be apart of that party. I am so blessed to have Shepherds in my life. (WAIT becky that is perfect. Remember how I look like a lamb already? you guys are my literal shepherds. hahah) In all seriousness though they are the best people. And help me become a better person with their great examples.

{go try the pumpkin cheesecake. you won't be disappointed.}

mystical.

What to be for Halloween is always a pain. Especially because you go through so many costumes and you just don't know what's right. (because it's such a special holiday and all right? pheeert.) No but really we went through so many ideas and you wouldn't believe that a FAIRY is what we decided on but we had to go to SJ's Comedy Sportz party and he needed to win. . .

 Thank you to Becky for being such a great hair stylist and 'eyelash-putttttter-oner.' I don't think Becky, Ashley and I will ever forget/trade the experience of Becky putting the eyelashes on Shaun. We died. Laughing. Crying. It was so special.

Of course Jeff had to throw the whole voting system by showing up in a hot sexy cop outfit so we didn't emerge with the trophy but I was just as happy & scared with seeing Johnson as a fairy.

Elder

A few of my friends have had these missionary music videos up lately on facebook. Yes they are funny but this one was SUCH a treat. I almost clicked out of it thinking it was just another boring one of some Elders but go ahead and just fast forward to 3:30 and enjoy. . .

punch it

So one fall break Ma and Pa decided to surprise Markus and me with a trip...(sounds like bad grammar but it's right I promise}

 {found out at the airport it was to the OC but I had no idea what we were doing..}

 {rented the car}

{checked into the resort}

 {went to a beach and walked through a tunnel..}

 TO THE FAMOUS HOUSE FROM THE MOVIE BEACHES! (if you watch this link only watch until about 2:20 so you don't ruin it)
If you haven't seen it then GO get it. You'll cry and laugh.
It was being fixed up so that's why the gate was up but oh it was magical.

 {then we ate at this Beachcomber place which was fabulous and usually has a huge wait so that was a treat}

 {that night it was kind of colder at the beach..which is what my Mother likes so that was good for her. I forgot what exactly it was called but hey, it was BEAUTiful}
 {had a few photo shoots}

 {then tried to get on Mark's back which seemed to be a failure but the most hilarious thing. Usually he's good at it but I slipped right off his back into the sand. Just had to be there..}

 {I love my brother. So glad we could keep each other company on this trip.}

 {That morning I still had no clue what was in store for Friday...We woke up and drove about an hour to Long Beach to come aboard the CATALINA EXPRESS.}

 {the boat was about an hour and hilarious as well. I have never been on a cruise but I hope it's not quite like that because the minute you stand up--you better grab a hold of something because you immediately fall down. We went out on the deck to get a few pictures wasn't a huge success because my lions mane went everywhere but it was a good time. I think those pictures were on my phone so maybe later..}
 {I loved it. Like my Mom said-I felt like I was in Italy. IT WAS GORGEOUS.}

 {don't worry there was buffalo everywhere. I loved it}

 {we rented a golf cart for about an hour to take us around the island. That was probably a solid hour of Mark and I in the back laughing hysterically at our parents. Mom driving and Dad the navigator using the phrase "punch it" trying to inch up the massive hill. Trying to make it to all the different view points in one hour. Mark counting down the minutes. My bag and falling off and stuff flying everywhere on the street. Following the other carts thinking they are going to the same place we were. I would have signed up for another hour of that..}

 {step right up for the best special around..}

 {nighttime came and we had tickets for this pretty legit Jazz concert in this beautiful hall called the Casino I think. Dad loved it and it was good to see him enjoying himself. Mark, Mom, and I might have caught up on our sleep for a second or two though..}

That's pretty much where my picture roll ends because the rest of that night and the early morning flight was kind of not the best on your eyes trust me. I had so much fun being with the family and just getting up and going spontaneously. It was a much needed vaca. Thank you thank you, I love my Mother and Father!

Jack Napier Wait was incredible.
And what an understatement that is.
I was so honored to have him in my life.
Trips to the Sacramento house, to have Gma and Gpa waiting at the door for us.
He would play in the pool with us (even if it was him doing his exercises and we were just playing around him).
It was all about the next family party for him.
 Favorite color was red.
Love parades and watching the kids get excited at them.
Always knew you had some money in the bank on your birthday once his bday card came :)
Till the very last day he remembered EVERY SINGLE one of his family member's birthdays.
Remember feeling so special when they drove all that way to come to my baptism.
Once my grandparents moved to Bountiful I felt almost selfish because I could always be with them.
The way he would hold his hands was special.
So many secret recipes.
He was such a tender hearted/emotional man.
Loved that his ears were as big as my pinky.
It was never too late to play a card game.
Holding hands while saying a blessing over the food always happened.

...

I could go on and on about this sensational man. You could ask every member of my family and they would without a doubt say that G'pa Jack is their hero. I know he is mine. Thanks for being and continue to be in our lives. I'm honored to have you and Grandma watching over me. xoxo

.

I miss conference.

Ps is it bad that one of the main reasons why I love my ward (k not MAIN but pretty high up) is that sometimes if I'm lucky I get to HOLD this little precious darling life in my arms?

Columbus

Well for Columbus day my mother and I went and took a trip on the scenic chairlift ride at Sundance. It was incredible. Except I figured out how I might be a bit terrified of heights. I had no idea. Although now that I'm looking back--I think it was just that I didn't feel secure. I had a camera, phone, and jacket flying all over the place and all we had to help us not plummet to our death was a measly old bar. My Mom was loving life and was like 'scoot over here'...'put your legs up'...'lean back.' Where did that come from??? I thought I got my hesitant/in-danger extinct from her. It was still such a fun afternoon though. Ten times better than the Moon-lit ride. You actually could SEE stuff. (which in my case wasn't the best due to my new unveiling phobia)

I was terrified that all of my belongings were going to fly out, but of course the only thing that actually did was Mama's sun hat. The kind boy at the top seemed nice especially since we greeted him (and everyone that passed) with a "Happy Columbus Day" greeting. So mother waved to get his attention as we were coming back down the mountain. He kindly retrieved the hat (even if he did have to hike down a ways which was kind of steep) and informed us that he would be tying it to a chair a few behind us. I think you just had to be there because we died laughing at the sight of the lone ranger coming down the MT.

That worker made it such a big deal that HE had to take it off and give it to me. I know he felt like a hero that day. Reaching that little guy to safety.

What a good Columbus Day with Ma.

xoxo
