Recently I have been noticing that people are using the phrase "another one bites the dust" when they are referring to friends tying Zzee knot. Well, then I think it is safe to say over this christmas break-about 23 people "bit the dust." I thought it was funny on Sunday that in the Bishop's testimony when referring to 2011 he said "a lot of you will be getting married in the next month or two and a lot of you will be getting married this year that aren't even planning on it..." As I look around I can just see the couples that aren't engaged or nowhere near cuddle up to each other with huge smiles. And then you look at the high maintenance freshmen girls that are positive about everything-even about being positive! They of course just have huge grins on their faces and think that the Bishop is having some sort of special revelation for them and only them. I know they have the guys' name in mind.
And then,
then there's me.
Who is simply laughing her head off inside.
Here's to 2011, another one bites the dust--NOT!

ReplyDeletehaha youre so funny. you will be unexpectedly smitten with somebody in no time. dont you love in singles wards when everyone is new the first sunday and then the next somehow there are 6 million couples cuddling in sacrament when they didnt even know who each other was the week before? hahahaha love this!
