he's gone..and we'll miss him.
-------
the past couple days i have been putting lessons together for my efy children and by doing so, i have felt so inspired.
from music, scriptures, talks, you name it!
i just want to share a few:
Mosiah 24:13-16
13) ...the lord came to them in their afflictions saying: lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for i know of the covenant which ye have made unto me..
14) ..i will ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs..that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions..
Elder Wirthlin Come What May, and Love It
...if we approach adversities wisely, our hardest times can be times of greatest growth, which in turn can lead toward times of greatest happiness..
..the next time you’re tempted to groan, you might try to laugh instead. It will extend your life and make the lives of all those around you more enjoyable..
...learning to endure times of disappointment, suffering, and sorrow is part of our on-the-job training. These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are precisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character, and increase our compassion for others..
..understand the principle of compensation. The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude..
and last but certainly not least..i love this song. everything will be okay--
Brand New Day by Joshua Radin

It’s a brand new day
