After serving in Mexico City for 2 yrs my best friend has come homeee.

now for my funny story.

brandon came back monday. . .

i had beeeeen patiently waiting for his call for days. okay not days but it seemed like days. i know you take time for the fam when you get home but i was getting very impatient!

Yesterday morning [wednesday]

i saw that i had missed a call. and the number looked familiar.

i called the number back and it went straight to the voicemail.

it was one of those voicemails that has an operator saying you have reached...and then it's just a clip of them saying their name. if that makes sense. so according to the voicemail it was Annette.

I have an aunt name Annette. And that is why it looked so familiar.

I was busy yesterday and had no time to call my aunt back so many times until she answered so I just decided I had already tried once and now I will forget about it. Then she called me two hours after that. I didn't want to asnwer--so I didn't. The number called me again after that. I thought if my aunt really had some emergency then she would call my house or leave a freakin message on my phone.

then the doorbell rang.

i looked out the window at what seemed like my aunts van.

i was freaking out and telling my brother and sister to act like my phone had died

{we all lie sometimes. do not judge}

but it ended up just being some lady in my ward.

I was doing my homework when my "aunt" called again. I was so bugged so I JUST ANSWERED IT!!

-HELLLLLLO?

-Nicole?

{it sounded like my cousin--aka annette's son}

-Yeah! whaat??

-Nailer, this is Brandon!

at that moment it ALL came together. Brandon was on his Mom's phone that I had called a couple weeks ago so of course it looked familiar to me. And guess what his mom's name is? Annette. DUH.

Oh wow it definitely was a funny day considering that he had been calling me all day but I didn't asnwer thinking it was my aunt.

Lesson to be learned here?

i think so.

anyway he's home he's home and it's so fantastical.

ps sorry that my posts are getting more and more useless and boring. useless seems to be what i specialize in now-a-days.

pps friends that appreciate bachelor? lets all get together for the final final. capeesh?
